Graveside services for Ada Mayne (Robison) Emmons of Yale, OK age 87, have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home and are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at the Lawson Cemetery, Yale, OK with Pastor Roy Emmons officiating. Ada was born on June 12, 1921 to Ed and Hattie (Smith) Robison in Tecumseh, OK. She grew up and attended school near Ripley, OK graduating from Ripley High School in 1940. She married Lloyd Emmons November 1, 1942. She was a member of the Council Valley Baptist Church near Cushing, Oklahoma. She loved volunteering her time there and at the Mehan Baptist Church. Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, and reading Christian books. She passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on June 14, 2008 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by: Her parents, her husband Lloyd, her daughter Sheila, and a grandson Lloyd Foster Mullen. She is survived by: 2 Daughters: Janet Scott and husband Dan of Oklahoma City, OK and Nancy Allen of Yale, OK 1 Brother: Troy Robison and wife Leola of Cushing, OK 1 Sister: Agnes Baker and her husband Dick of Cushing, OK 2 Grandchildren: Alisa Morgan and Aedria Hughes 9 Great Grandchildren: Kaylan, Justin, Kelci, Tirzah, Jasmine, Sarah, Simone, Nina, and Layla. Visitation will be held from 10am-8pm Monday June 16, 2008 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home located at 800 S. Linwood in Cushing, OK.
