Amelia Pauline Black, 81, passed from this life on June 12, 2012 at the Westhaven Nursing Home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Pauline lived a long life devoted to her family and friends. Pauline was born on September 9, 1931 at the family home in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. She attended school in Wyandotte and graduated from High School in Wyandotte. She was united in marriage to R. B. Black on April 30, 1946 in Columbus, Kansas. IN 1947, she and her husband moved to West Point, Oklahoma where they built a grocery and gasoline service store. In 1949, they moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma where they operated a roofing business for more than 30 years. Later, Pauline worked for Wal-Mart as a clerk and door greeter. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Mabel Gee. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Pat Black of Stillwater, a grandchild Brian Black, great grandchildren, Andrew and Nicholas. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the loving care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
