Andrew Jackson Gipson, Jr.

Graveside services for Andrew Jackson Gipson, Jr., 79, of Stillwater are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 20, 2009 in Perkins Cemetery with Pastor Steve Walls officiating.
Mr. Gipson was born on January 8, 1930 in Perkins to Andrew Jackson Gipson, Sr. He grew up and attended schools in Perkins, where he graduated from Perkins High School. He attended 2 years of college before he was drafted into the United States Marine Corps in 1952. He worked hard all of his life while raising three children on his own for 16 years. He was a Mason. He loved garage sales and woodworking. Andrew passed from this life on Thursday, April 16, 2009 in Stillwater.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, George.
He is survived by: two sons, Bill Gipson and his wife, Linda of Ripley and Brett Gipson and his wife, Cherie of Stroud; two daughters, Dawn Beaver of Ripley and Annette Edmondson of Ripley; 13 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many friends.
