Angela Jeanette Hoffman

Angela Jeanette Hoffman, age 45, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Morrison on Thursday, April 27, 2023. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Perry.

Angie was born August 14, 1977 in Pender, Nebraska to Leon George Furchert and Paula Jean Blackburn. She graduated from Perry High School. She worked as a carhop at Sonic for a while and then worked telemarketing until her health started failing her. She loved children and always dreamed of being a school teacher. Her greatest joy was being a mother to her own children. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live forever in the hearts of all who knew her.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Paula Fish and husband Willard of Perry, Oklahoma; bonus stepfather, Bob Hoffman of Nebraska; two sons, Nev aka “Sam” Payne of the home and Chase Rieley; siblings, Bobbie Hoffman and Bee, Shelly Schovanec, Trisha DeWeese and husband Blake; and stepsister, April Fish. She was preceded in death by her son, Hunter James Smith; father, Leon George Furchert; and her grandparents.

Visitation will be from 9AM to 5PM Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home, Perry. A Celebration of Angie’s life will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 3PM in the Chapel at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home, Perry.
