Arthur "Artie" Radford

Arthur “Artie” Leon Radford passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 3, 2021 in Cassville, Missouri. He was 55. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.

Artie was born May 9, 1966 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Jerry Lee and Thelma Ann (Sharpton) Radford. He grew up in Stillwater and graduated Stillwater High School in 1984. He married Sarah Amos in Stillwater on April 15, 1989. One of his passions was fishing. Always looking for a reason to wet a hook. He also enjoyed taking road trips and spending time with his grandchildren. He was currently working at Stillwater Medical Center in the maintenance department at the time of his passing. He will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his children, Joshua Radford and fiancé Melissa Burruss of Stillwater, Ok., Lyndi Sutterfield and husband Joseph of Glencoe, OK., and Austin Radford of Cushing, Ok; mother, Thelma Matheson of Stillwater, Ok; two brothers, Brian Radford and Charles Radford both of Stillwater, Ok; eight grandchildren, Isabella Radford, Abagail Radford, Avery Sutterfield, Grayson Radford, Harper Sutterfield, Samantha Burruss, Robert Gottfried, and Darrell Gottfried. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah; and his father, Jerry.

Visitation will be 1PM to 6PM Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home. Family will greet guests from 1PM to 3PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 1PM at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home, Stillwater. Interment will follow at Glencoe South Cemetery in Glencoe, OK.
