Arthur Buddy Forsyth Jr., passed from this life on April 25, 2014 at the age of 55. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater and will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 1, 2014 in the funeral home chapel.
The son of the late Arthur Ralph Forsyth and Betty Jo (Rush) Osborn, Arthur was born in Los Angeles, CA on January 17, 1959. His family moved to Stillwater when he was still young. Arthur attended Stillwater High School and graduated in 1977. After high school, Arthur joined the United States Army and served his country proudly until 1982. Following his honorable discharge from the service, Arthur took to driving a big rig. He drove all across the country and loved every minute of it. During the drive he would enjoy listening to classic rock music. During the nights on the road, he would sit out and look at the stars. Arthur loved astronomy and would point out the different constellations. When Arthur was off the road, he enjoyed playing the drums, spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his chiweenie Bobo. Some other hobbies he enjoyed include collecting knives, Harley Davidsons, bald eagles, and building model cars and airplanes.
Arthur was preceded in death by his birth parents, Arthur Ralph Forsyth Sr. and Betty Jo (Rush) Osborn; his dad, James Osborn; best friend Clifford Ross; one nephew and one great nephew.
Survivors include eight children, Tony Forsyth and wife, Kristyn of Stillwater, Buddy Forsyth of Stillwater, Jamie Dwinnells of Tulsa, Jennifer Watkins and husband, Matthew of Sand Springs, Edward Culie and wife, Jessica of Tryon, Robby Culie of Oklahoma City, Michael Culie and wife, Sarah of Stillwater, Anastasia Murray of Stillwater; one sister, Ruth Ann Kennedy and husband, Tim of Raleigh, N.C.; one brother, Randy Osborn and wife, Christina Bustamante of El Paso, TX; fourteen grandchildren, Hannah, Tyler, Kinley, Kadynce, Lexie, Christian, Gabby, Noah, Sophia, Lizzy, Chey, Clayton, Tyson, and Brandon; three nephews, one niece, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial contributions can be made in Arthurs name to the American Heart Association in care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home 5106 N. Washington. Stillwater, OK 74075
