Barbara Goad

Barbara Jean Jeannie Goad, a longtime Guthrie area resident, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in the Willow Creek Health Care Center in Guthrie at the age of 56 years.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the home of Jimmie and Debbie Goad (5225 Bear Creek Lane, Guthrie, OK). Following the memorial service family and friends will be having lunch (weather permitting).
The daughter of the late Buck Goad and Betty (Harris) Goad, Jeannie was born on January 15, 1958 in Edmond, OK.
Jeannie is survived by her two children, Donnie Knittle and Chasati Scott; six brothers, LeRoy Goad, Kenneth Goad, Jackie Goad, Johnnie Goad, Jimmie Goad, and Jody Goad; one sister, JoAnn Goad; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Jeannie was preceded in death by her friend and companion, David Manning and two brothers, Jerry Goad and Jay Goad.
