Becky Lynne Sharp

Our sweet sister, Becky, walked through Heavens gates and into Jesus’ arms on Monday, June 12, 2023.

Becky Lynne Sharp was born March 12, 1963 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Donald Eugene and Ellen Marie (Allen) Sharp.

Becky is survived by her son, Daniel Sunmugavail of the Oklahoma City area; and her close friend, Brandon Carver of Stillwater. She is also survived by siblings, James Sharp of Narka, Kansas, Debra Porter and husband, Gerald of Glencoe, Oklahoma, Sandra Cearley and husband, Dwain of Rowlett, Texas, Nancy McConnell of Ralston, Oklahoma; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and many cousins. Becky was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Kenneth Sharp, Vicky Kitchel, Helen Jean Frazier, Donald Sharp, Jr; and a niece and two nephews.

Becky graduated from Pawnee High School and studied nursing at Northern Oklahoma Junior College. She worked as a CMA at Northern Oklahoma Resource Center (OKDHS) from 1992 until she medically retired in 2010. She was a member of Victory Life Church in Stillwater. Becky loved Jesus, her family, her friends and her church families. Becky was a survivor. Every day for the last 10 years has been a struggle but she got up every morning and faced everyday like a champ. She was very loving and generous, truly putting others before herself. She lived to laugh and bring joy to others.

A Celebration of Becky’s Life will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 10:30 am at Victory Life Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma with her final resting place to be at Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma.

The family would like to thank all the many medical professionals, first responders and service workers who cared for Becky.
