Betty Benedict

Betty Benedict, age 72, of Perkins, OK, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at Hillcrest hospital in Tulsa. Services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater, OK.

Betty was born April 1, 1945 in Manitowoc, WI, to Victor and Flora (Jahnke) Miller. She grew up in the Manitowoc area and graduated from Oshkosh North High School. Betty married David Benedict on October 8, 1966 in Fond Du Lac, WI. They were blessed 51 wonderful years together. She loved traveling and going out to eat. She enjoyed cooking and was noted to have the best meat loaf and spaghetti with meatballs around. She was also a faithful Green Bay Packers fan. She will be greatly missed by many.

She is survived by her husband of the home; one son, Michael F. Benedict of Perry, OK; one daughter, Tracy A. Benedict of Perkins, OK; four sisters, Carol Madigan of Rosendale, WI, Nona Singer and husband John, Bonnie Durgin and husband Harold, and Joan Rice and husband Eugene, all of Manitowoc, WI; her extended family, Mendlesky family, Brandy Coe, and Jennifer Holder; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Benedict; and three grandchildren.
