Betty Jean Keith, 74, passed away at her home in Perry on Saturday, May 30, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Perry.
Betty was born on April 1, 1946 in Prague, Oklahoma to Coy Harmon Sr., and Jewel (Stevison) Miler. She was raised in Douglas, Oklahoma. She married Lloyd Eugene Keith in 1963 and together they had four sons Floyd, Danny, Billy and Sean.
Betty was a hard worker who always expressed a “can do” attitude no matter the circumstance. She worked at Ditch Witch for 24 years. First in the custodial department and then as a machine operator until she retired. After retirement Betty spent time with her family, church family and pets. She was always lovingly bossing her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Family get-togethers at grandmas’ house were always a favorite and she will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her four sons, Floyd Keith and wife Teena, , Danny Keith, Billy Keith and wife Pam, and Sean Keith and wife Stacey; three siblings, Wilma Apperson, Coy Harmon Jr. and wife Janet, and Donald Harmon and wife Vicki; five grandchildren, John Keith and wife Micah, Kevin Keith, Joe Keith and wife Carrie, Dakota Davis-Keith, and Montana Keith; eight great-grandchildren, Payton Keith, Lucas Keith, Gaven Keith, Benjamin Keith, Liam Polf, Kaden Polf, Lily Keith, and Isabella Keith. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Ivan Miler; her husband; three siblings, Leroy Harmon, Wanda Blankenship, and Dorothy Simunek; two grandchildren, Jeremy Keith and Dillian Keith; two great-grandchildren, Charlie Keith and LeeAnn Cottrell.
