Betty Moser, age 80, of Perkins, OK, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in Stillwater, OK. Services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.
A private memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Perkins, OK.
Betty was born December 14, 1937 in Perkins, OK, to William and Delphia (Williams) Jamison. She grew-up in Perkins where she attended school, played trombone in the high school band, was a baton twirler and s a Homecoming Queen for the football team . She graduated in 1956 from Central High School in Tulsa. She married Jack DeWayne Moser on June 4, 1955 in Oklahoma City, OK.
While finishing high school in Tulsa she worked as a bookkeeper/secretary at Wheatley Pumps. After her daughter, Kim, was born the family moved back to Perkins where she and her friend, Cleo Rose, operated a tax preparation business for a time. She also worked at the Perkins Livestock Auction one day a week for many years.
Betty was very involved in bowling in her earlier years. She won several championships through the years. She also enjoyed making memories with her family during the summer at the lake.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Moser of Perkins, OK; two daughters, Kim Cantrell and husband Roy of Stillwater, OK, and Tamera Moser of Perkins, OK; five grandchildren, Beau Harmon and wife Shanna of Stillwater, OK, Erik Harmon of Perkins, OK, Dee Brown and wife Rayanne of Chugiak, Alaska, Trevor Lightfoot and wife Amanda of Catoosa, OK, and Heather Lightfoot of Ventura, CA; ten great-grandchildren.
