Betty Louise Craft, 77, of Stillwater passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017. Arrangements are under the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11:00am at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, May 27 from 12:00 noon to 5:00pm at Palmer Marler Funeral Home.
Betty Louise Sumpler was born August 14, 1939 in Mehan, Oklahoma to James C. and Pearl Louise (Thurman) Sumpler. Betty had six siblings. She attended Stillwater Public Schools. Betty married Martin Craft in 1957 and later divorced. They had two children, Robert Lee Craft and James Martin Craft.
Betty worked as a seamstress and also with Project Heart of Stillwater. She loved fishing, camping, time with family, and putting together puzzles.
Betty is preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; and three brothers.
Betty is survived by her significant other Bob Jauch; his children; her sons, Robert Craft of Stillwater, James Craft and wife, Debbie of Stillwater; two brothers, Delbert Sumpler and wife Lou Ann of Chandler, Leon Sumpler and wife, Martha of Tyler, TX; sister, Sally Minshall of Stillwater; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the American Blood Institute or American Cancer Society in care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, 5106 North Washington, Stillwater, OK 74075.
