Betty Louise Fisher

Betty Louise Fisher, 78, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2011 in the arms of her daughter Christy at her home in Escondido, California. Services have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home of Stillwater and will be held at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Aaron Cole presiding. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery.
Betty was born on November 7, 1932 to George and Willie Mae (Null) Fisher in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She was born to a coal miners daughter during the depression, the youngest of ten children. She was married to William Meyer and from this union four children were born Robert Allen Meyer, Sherry Elaine Meyer, Kerri Kathleen Louise Meyer, and Christy Marie Meyer. She worked as a certified nursing assistant for 59 years.
She wanted everyone to know she was proud to be a child of God, and she would tell anyone who asked her all about Jesus, who she knew so well from walking with the Lord and reading His Word every day. Reading was her passion and helping others came naturally to her. She taught all of the children how to pray and of God's love, so that they all wanted to share the story of God's love and kindness to anyone who would ask them. And so, the children all know exactly where she is now, 100% they know she is in Heaven today, where they will catch up to her as soon as God will let them.
