Beulah Louise Wright

Beulah Louise Hoover Wright, 81, returned to her heavenly home on May 5^th, 2024, surrounded by her family in her home.  She was devoted to her Christian faith and devoted to her family.

Beulah was born in Exeter, California to Alton “Earl” Hoover and Violet Overacker Hoover on January 10^th, 1943.  She was a devoted member of the Church of the First Born from an early age.  She obtained her General Education Diploma in 1987 and went on to Tulsa Community College.  She graduated from there in 1993, with a degree in Business.  

Beulah met the love of her life, Shelton Edward Wright and the two were married on August 26^th, 1961, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.  They had four children, Rex, Tommy, Diane, and Bruce.  Shelton left this life early on, and Beulah raised their four children.  She learned how to drive trucks to provide for her family among many other things.  

Beulah above everything was a proud parent, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.   She wore the title “Grandma” or “Great Gran” with the highest honor.  She boasted about her children and grandchildren and all their accomplishments.  Anytime someone would walk into a room she would proudly talk about them all.  She thoroughly enjoyed reading, and she also enjoyed crafting, painting, and coloring.  

Beulah made an impact on everyone she met.  She was known for her infectious smile and her sense of humor.  Everyone who met her always said they just loved her.  People who met her knew how proud she was of her family and all their accomplishments.  

Beulah is survived by her daughter Diane Huffman and Charles of Stillwater, Rex Wright and Tereasa of Ripley, Tommy Wright of Wann, and Bruce Wright of Stillwater.  Her brother; Ralph Hoover and Pam of Agra.  Her grandchildren; Shellion Wright, Greg Wright, Paul Wright, Justin McFarlin and Rachel, Misty Applegate and Brent, Remy Wright, James West, Justin West and Macy, Larissa Harris, Joseph Wright, and Rose Wright.  Great grandchildren; Andrew, Gabby, Prentis, Shy-Ann, Khloe, Eddy, Daasha, Trace, Aspen, Abel, Justin Jr., Kamerra, Cayden, Conner, Cole, Hudson, Salem, Easton, Bella, Wade and one great great grandson Jackson Wright.  

Beulah is proceeded in death by her husband Shelton Edward Wright, her parents Alton “Earl” Hoover and Violet Overacker Hoover, her brother Alton Hoover, and sister Madeline “Joyce” Flud.  

Beulah’s life will be Celebrated at the Church of God in Ripley on Monday May 13^th, 2024, at 10:00am.  Pastor Steve will officiate the service.  Beulah will be laid to rest at the Parklawn Cemetery in Agra, Oklahoma.  The public viewing will be Sunday May 12^th, 2024, from 2pm-6pm.  The family has entrusted the care of Beulah to Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.
