Billie Pepper Trachtenbarg

Billie (Pepper) Trachtenbarg, 86, died on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Stillwater Medical Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Billie was born on October 29, 1926 in Omaha, Nebraska to Joseph C. and Florence (Rachman) Pepper.
Memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater, Oklahoma with Rev. Carol Fincher, officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Stillwater Oklahoma.
Billie grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Central High School in 1944. Billie married Malcolm S. Mac Trachtenbarg in December 1946 and they celebrated twenty nine years together before he preceded her in death in 1976.
She enjoyed bowling with her husband, reading, and spending time with her family. She loved vacationing at the Rocky Mountain National Park. Billie resided at Golden Oaks for the last 12 years of her life where she was able to be very independent to the end.
She is survived by her two children, Charles Trachtenbarg and wife, Pat Paschang of Mission Viejo, California and Cheryl Gebhart and her husband, Glen Gebhart of Stillwater, Oklahoma; one grandson, Brian Gebhart and his wife, Jessica Gebhart of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mac Trachtenbarg; parents, Joseph and Florence (Rachman) Pepper; and two sisters, Jean and Lois.
