Billie Ray Sisco

Billie Ray Sisco, long time resident of Morrison Oklahoma left this world to be with his Savior on Sunday, December 13, 2015. He was 81 years old. Funeral services have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home of Perry and will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Palmer Marler Chapel in Perry with burial to follow at the Morrison Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Billie was born July 11th, 1934 in Keystone Oklahoma to Samuel Emmerson and Cynthia (Cox) Sisco. He was the 5th of 8 children. Billie graduated 8th grade from Burbank School in Osage County. He worked for Mark Freeman milking cows, breaking horses and working cattle, in order to help his parents care for his younger siblings of the home. Billie has one younger brother Henry Sisco (wife Sharon), and three sisters, Merry Gordon (husband Gene), Lois Brashear (husband Johnny) and Margie Harp (husband Bill) that continue to enjoy life, as well as his children Steve Sisco (wife Brenda), Gwen Bales, Teresa Moon-Watters (husband Derrell), Vicki Veit (husband Larry) and Jody Warren (husband Dennis). Grandchildren are Jason Bales (wife Amanda), Mathew Bales (wife Shawna), Aubrey Driggs (husband Tony), Karrie Ley (husband Charlie), Katie Bales, Dusty Sisco, Kim Banks (husband Brent), Traci Guthrie (husband Paul), Christi Lewallen (husband Caddo) and Cody Dollarhide. He was blessed with 14 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other family members whom he loved with all his heart. Billie married Esther Irene Williams on March 16th, 1956, and they had three children together, Stephen Ray, Gwendolyn Faye and Teresa Kay. They were married eight years ending in 1964. Irene passed away June 27th, 2010. Billie married the love of his life, Shirley Josephine Ventris on September 22nd, 1964, who brought to his life two daughters, Vicki Sue and Bobby Jo (Jody). He shared his life lovingly with Shirley for 24 years until she passed away on July 31st, 1988. Billie married Peggy Coleman in 1989, enjoying her children and grandchildren, and always remained good friends thereafter. Billie married Donna Berg on September 18th, 1997 and shared 11 years together until she passed away on December 20, 2008 of a long courageous battle with cancer. Billie married Alpha Frank on July 25th, 2010, and missed her dearly until his last day. Billie was a farmer, rancher and cowboy his entire life. He dairy farmed, cattle ranched and hog farmed. He coon hunted with his brothers, son in laws, cousins, friends and some of the best coon dogs in the nation. He loved to fish from a very early age, enjoyed raising a large garden and setting up his vegetable stand at Bill"s Corner providing fresh vegetables to a tri-county area. He also enjoyed trapping Bobcat"s. Times spent with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was time cherished. Dancing and listening to music at the Senior Citizen Center was another favorite time along with visiting the caf" in Morrison to see old friends and make new. Billie never knew a stranger, and you never left his presence feeling like one. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Pawnee Oklahoma, where his son in law Dennis Warren is Pastor. He was very well known, loved and respected in his community. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Cynthia Sisco; brothers, Olan Sisco and Russell Sisco; sister, Lola Coffman; sister in law, Maggie Sisco; grand daughter, Jennifer Sisco; daughter in law, Karen Sisco; wives, Shirley Sisco and Donna Sisco; ex wife, Irene Cranford; and cousin, Johnny Sisco. Memorials may be in Billie"s name to the Morrison 4-H Club or the Bible Baptist Church, Pawnee, Oklahoma in care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, P.O. Box 189, Perry, Oklahoma, 73077.
