Billy Frank Smith, age 71, died May 6th at his home in Stillwater. He was a radio and cell-phone repair manager and enjoyed woodworking, engraving, customizing autos, square dancing, and the company of children and canines. He had been in poor health following a stroke 8 years prior.
Bill was born in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, April 1, 1948 and graduated from Putnam City High School following the death of his mother Mary. His work took him across Oklahoma and Texas ending in a long period in Houston prior to moving to Stillwater in 2016. He married and divorced twice and leaves one son, Virgil, and one granddaughter, Kitra, to mourn his departure. He was also preceded in death by his father, Virgil, brother, Harold, and sister, Carol Jean Snyder.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 25th at 2:30pm at Dighton Marler Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
