Billy Joe Curtis

Billy Joe Curtis, 73, of Morrison passed away on June 12, 2022. Graveside services have been entrusted to Dighton Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.

He was born on July 7, 1948 to Woodward and Eula Mae Clapp Curtis. He grew up in the Stillwater and Morrison area, graduating from High School before beginning a long career of working with his hands. He was mechanical and enjoyed fixing things. He retired from National Standard, where he had been a machine operator.

Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and taking care of the farm. He enjoyed mowing grass and commented how it always smelled so nice and looked so good. To relax he enjoyed watching western movies and shooting guns.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one daughter, and brothers, Larry, Jim, and sister Shirley.

He is survived by his children; Richard Curtis of Stillwater, OK; Casandra Gillinger and her husband Joe of Morrison, OK; Jeff Pennington of Stillwater, OK; Rodney Pennington of Stillwater, OK; Melissa Jennings of Ponca City, OK; and Evelyn Graham and husband Darold of Morrison, OK.

He is also survived by grandchildren; Billy Curtis, Shawn Curtis, Jason Curtis, Jessie Curtis, Amanda Kelly, Joseph Gillinger II, Justin Sepeda, Russell Sepeda, Gregory Sepeda, Megan Sepeda, Ahsley Graham, Austin Graham, Adam Graham, Aaron Graham, Kelesy Dunn, John Sanders, Jeff Pennington, Jr. and Carol Curtis. He is also survived by 21 great-grand-children, and one brother, Ron Curtis of Glencoe, OK.
