Billy Lynn Waters

Billy Lynn Waters, 77, of Stillwater, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016. Funeral services will be Monday, November 14, at 10am at Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Stillwater. Graveside service will be on Monday at 3 p.m. at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 13 from 1pm to 6pm. Family will be greeting guest from 2pm to 4pm at the funeral home. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.
Billy was born on September 26, 1939 in Akins, Oklahoma to Leonard and Maggie (Folsom) Waters. He grew up in the Akins/Sallisaw area. He graduated from Central High in Sallisaw. Billy married Anna Doris Jiles on January 15, 1959 in Akins, Oklahoma.
Billy loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, whistling, telling stories and western movies. He also loved traveling to North Carolina.
Loved ones left behind to cherish Billys memory are his loving wife of fifty seven years Anna Doris; daughter Susan Ramirez and husband Santos of Canton, North Carolina; daughter Melinda Hamilton and husband Tim of Stillwater; son Leonard Waters and significant other Jennifer Ross of Stillwater; son Joe Phillips and wife Dian of Clearwater, Kansas, and his brother Tommy Lessley and wife Rosa of Byars, Oklahoma. He is also survived by grandchildren Erica Keesling and husband Jason, Mary Ornelas and Jessica, Tiffany Citizen and Corey, Brooke Caldwell, Dustin Hamilton and wife Heather, Erika Ramirez, Shae Caldwell, Gage Hamilton, Raymond Ramirez, ShyAnne Phillips, Madison Waters, Little Joe Phillips, Hunter Waters, Kaylee Waters and Kenna Waters; great grandchildren; Jacob Hensley, Garrett Keesling, Baylor Citizen, Cash Richardson, Eva Belcher, Brantley Hamilton, Hagen Hamilton and two bundles of joy that will be joining our family soon.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, daughter Deborah Diane Hensley and fur baby Baby Cakes.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Hensley, Dustin Hamilton, Hunter Waters, Little Joe Phillips, Gage Hamilton and Corey Citizen.
