Bradford Earl Emmons

Bradford E. Emmons, 53, of Stillwater died Thursday, February 2, 2006. He was born on July 16, 1952, on Okinawa Island and was adopted by his parents, Earl and Joan Emmons. He attended Stillwater High School and graduated from Jonesboro High School in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He later completed a medical technician course in Oklahoma City. He married Linda Hubbard of Batesville, Arkansas which ended in divorce. He then married Jill Meeks of Ardmore, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death in 2002. He was also preceded in death by his mother, Joan Emmons. He is survived by his father, Earl Emmons and stepmother, Virginia of Stillwater, a sister Robin Reece and her husband Disney of Perkins, OK, a son, Brandon Emmons of Batesville, AR and one daughter, Jakki Meeks Stewart and her husband, Brandon of Ardmore, OK and one grandson, Seth Stewart of Ardmore, as well as his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces. He worked in the medical field, Moore Business Forms and O.S.U. in Stillwater, and at various jobs in Ardmore and Stillwater, OK. Brad was an excellent drummer and was happiest when playing with music groups in Arkansas and Oklahoma. He enjoyed music, visiting with his many friends and fishing.
Visitation and viewing will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m. at Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home in Stillwater. Services will be at Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home on Monday at 1:00 with a short graveside service to be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Roy Emmons officiating. Pall Bearers include Ken Sirbaugh, Billy Cloud, Wilson Garett, Patrick McKee, John Welch and Bret Franzmann Honorary Pall Bearers are Jack Ribble and Judd Dvorak. Memorials may be made in Brads name at the charity of individual choice.
