Bryce Duncan, 21, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at his home in Stillwater. Born on July 29, 2003, Bryce was a beloved son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many during his time with us.
Bryce was the cherished son of Chester Eugene Duncan Jr. and Crystal Lee Duncan. He grew up in Ripley, where he graduated from Ripley High School, leaving behind memories of laughter and joy among his peers. His warm smile and infectious laughter were a hallmark of his character, endearing him to all who knew him.
As a member of a close-knit family, Bryce found joy in simple pleasures: fishing, spending time outdoors, and shooting guns were among his favorite activities. He valued the moments spent with those he loved, often marked by shared meals and hearty conversations. His love for his family was evident, as he engaged in these activities with enthusiasm and a heartfelt spirit.
Bryce is survived by his parents, Chester and Crystal, and is remembered fondly as a brother to his siblings: Cameron Ellison, Bobbie Duncan, Jorden James, and Jada James. He leaves behind a legacy of love and connection that will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
Additionally, he is survived by numerous relatives who will hold his memory dear, including Aunt Emily and Uncle Alan along with their children; Aunt Misty and her children; Uncle Nick and Aunt Espi and their children; Uncle Tim and his child; and Uncle Scott and his children. Bryce is also lovingly remembered by his grandparents: Merilyn Cundiff, Linette Collins, and John Gillespie.
He was preceded in death by several family members who have now welcomed him home, including Great Grandma Black, Grandpa Bobby Jo, Uncle Billy, Uncle Darrell, Grandma Meryl Cundiff, and Nelson Cundiff.
Visitation for Bryce will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Dighton Marler Funeral Home. Those who wish to pay their respects are encouraged to attend and celebrate the life of a young man who brought joy and love to so many. Bryce Duncan will be deeply missed, but his spirit and the memories of his laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
