Cale Drumm

February 3, 1975 — March 21, 2014

Cale Wayne Drumm, 39, came into this world on February 3, 1975 in the loving arms of his parents, James Wayne Drumm and Lois Jean (Gunter) Friedemann and left this world on Marc h, 21, 2014 on the wings of an Angel. He was born in Stillwater, graduating from Stillwater High School. He followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfathers when he enlisted in the Army National Guard 45th Infantry Brigade where he served four tours overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan. Sgt. Drumm was loved by all who knew him. He was a kind and gentle man who served his country, family and his friends with love and integrity.

He worked for Audio Innovations for 13 years and at the time of death he was employed at Knights Medical Supply.

Cale married Angie Harper, who he had known since grade school on August 1, 2010. With this union he gained a wonderful step-daughter, Christian Lindley and the other light of his life, his son Matthew Winchester Drumm.

Cale was affectionately referred to as the Golden Child by his siblings and he never missed an opportunity to tease his nieces and nephews. Cale died doing something he loved driving his 1967 Mustang GT that he and his father had worked on for more than 10 years.

Cale was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Rachel Drumm and Robert and Dora May Gunter; Uncle Sam Gunter and great cousin Mike Devlin.

Cale is survived by his wife, Angie, step-daughter Christian and son Matthew; his parents, Jim and Lisa Drumm, Lois and John Friedemann; sisters Abby (Drumm) Blevins, Brandy Heid, Heather (Friedemann) Farrow and brothers Vincent Heid and Danny Friedemann. He is also survived by nieces Bailey, Kelsey, Haylee, Jordan and nephews Caden, Brayden, Giles and Russ. And many numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held Thursday at 1:00 pm at Life Church in Stillwater with Burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be at Palmer-Marler Funeral Home on Wednesday from 8 am to 8:00 pm. Donation may be made to the family at any Bank SNB location or to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
