Callie Hunt

Callie Elese Hunt of Norman passed away October 13, 2016 at her sister's home in Stillwater, OK. Callie was a devoted and loving mother, sister, daughter, friend and nurse. Callie will be remembered for her intelligence, incredible wit and loyalty to her family and friends.
Callie was born August 3, 1960 in Ardmore, OK to Robert David and Mattie Carol (Berryhill) Hunt. She graduated from Norman High School in 1978 where she played cello in the orchestra. She especially enjoyed concerts with the orchestra when they were chosen to play around Romania.
Callie attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas before returning to Oklahoma and graduating from The University of Oklahoma College of Nursing in 1986.
Callie is survived by her two children: Ian Hunt of Moore, Oklahoma and Mattie Hunt of New York City; four grandchildren: Sylis, Ian Jr., Emmitt and Jaiden Hunt. She is also survived by two sisters: Alice and Justin Johnson of Tulsa, and Carrie and David Reynolds of Stillwater; niece, Amanda Reynolds Balaban (Sam) of Oklahoma City; and nephew, Christopher R. Reynolds of Stillwater.
Callie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert David and Mattie Carol (Berryhill) Hunt; and two nephews, Benjamin A. Morris and Nathan H. Morris.
