Carolyn Ann Mullen

Funeral services for Carolyn Ann Mullen, 69, of Stillwater are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 11, 2009 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Stillwater. Services are under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Stillwater.
Carolyn was born to Willie and Ruby Brannon Emery August 16, 1940 in Red River County, Texas. When her mother died in 1952, she lived with her sister and her family until she married Bill Mullen. She and Bill went to high school in Crane, Texas and were married February 10th, 1961. Carolyn was a loving care giver all her life and her husband Bill gave her tender, loving care during her terminal illness.
Carolyn Ann was a Christian and attended Sunnybrook Church in Stillwater. She was a church secretary there and at her previous home church in Crane, Texas at the Crane Christian Church. She was employed at S.S.T. and Jackson Diamond Jewelers in Stillwater. Carolyn Ann Mullen went to meet her maker on Saturday January 9th, 2010.
She is survived by husband Bill Mullen, her brother Don Emery of Pittsburg, Texas, and sister Nita Smith of Stillwater. She s also survived by nieces Jackie Griffin of Stillwater, Sherry Pomroy of Odessa, Texas, Joni Tooke of Del Rio, Texas, nephews Joel Smith and Scott Smith of Granbury, Texas, and many second and third generation nieces and nephews including a very special and close grand niece Denice Griffin of Stillwater.
