Carolyn Jean Lowery-Adair

March 23, 1943 — February 5, 2017

Carolyn Jeanne Lowery-Adair, 73, of Stillwater, Oklahoma passed away at her home on Sunday, February 5, 2017. Arrangements are under the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater. Family will be having a memorial service at Tryon Christian Union Church on Wednesday, February 8 at 2:00 pm.

Jeanne was born on March 23, 1943 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Flo Lowery. She grew up attending schools in Oklahoma and California. She graduated high school in Port Hueneme, California. After having all of her children, she went to Bacone College and received her associate degree in Nursing.

She loved her family, her pets and her few lifelong friends. She enjoyed reading, fishing and gardening. In her later years, she became a farmer, raising cattle. She was a gentle soul and will be greatly missed by all who love her.

Jeanne is survived by eight of her children, John Baker Logan III, Lydia Elizabeth Jackson and her husband Ralph, James Lee Logan and special friend Brenda Toney, Regina Hall and her husband James, Roy Dale Smith, Joe Dean Smith, Rory Allen Smith and Roderick Alexander Smith; eleven grandchildren, Jonathan Hall and girlfriend Shaleen Wilson, Zachary Hall and girlfriend Kendra Smith, Logan Hall and wife Erin, Katherine Cooper and husband Nathan, Michael Hall, Thomas Jackson, Jasmine Smith, Jamie Lee Applegate, Caleb Beauvais, Colton Morrow, Corey White; three great grandchildren, Ephraim, Basil, and Chayse.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Pete Adair; mother, Flo Lowery; granddaughter, Sarah Logan; twin children, Sheila and Kevin Smith.

Memorial donation can be made in Jeannes name to the Tryon Christian Union Church in care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, 5106 North Washington, Stillwater, OK 74075.
