Kay was born in Bison, OK on January 31st , 1941. She attended Hayward School, graduating from Orlando High School. Kay’s smile lit up her face and along with that twinkle in her eye, she was always ready to engage in her favorite past time, spending time with family and dear friends. Kay loved to laugh, cook, fish, crochet, needlepoint and relax and read a good book. Kay and Dave, lovingly married for 58 years, successfully managed several Ditch Witch Dealerships. Her resourcefulness and can do attitude, were instrumental in earning the couple numerous nationally recognized achievements and awards. Kay and Dave enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and overseas in early retirement. They especially loved spending time in Arizona looking out over the beautiful Catalina Mountains, right in their back yard.
Kay is preceded in death by her parents Rose (Reinkemeyer) Mack and Harry Mack, brothers Harold Mack, Jim Mack and John Mack, sisters Virginia “Judy” Dick, Dorothy Horstman, Mary Jo Beneditti, nephews Lonnie Mack, Ronnie Decker, Gary Mack, and two little Angels that she will get to hold for the first time in heaven. She is survived by her husband, Dave, daughter, Kim and brother, Lawrence Mack.
Kim and Dave want to express our sincerest thanks to those who helped us care for Kay day to day, while she was at home. We are grateful to John, Tonya, Donna, Cheryl, LaTina, Tracy, Teresa, Judy, Megan, Violet, Chaplin Terry and others, for their gentle hearts and dedication to her. Our hearts are filled with love, our minds are filled with loving memories. Rest in peace, Kay.
