Carolyn Sue Castoe

Carolyn Sue Castoe 67, of Stillwater passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 at OU Medical Center at Edmond following a period of illness.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in the Stillwater First Church of the Nazerene with Pastor Henry Siems officiating. Interment will follow at a later date under the direction of Palmer-Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater. Memorials may be made in Carolyns name to the Palmer-Marler Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses. Carolyn was born April 21, 1944 in Stillwater, the daughter of Earl Everett Eugene and Freda Mae (Gottfried) Terrell. She graduated from Stillwater High School in 1962 and married George Donald Castoe June 4, 1962. Carolyn was a homemaker who loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed crafts, shopping with her girls, reading and family genealogy.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Calvin. She is survived by her husband George Donald Castoe, daughters, Robi Wichita and Shona Gawhega both of Stillwater, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers Melvin Terrell and wife Dixie and Kermit Terrell both of Stillwater, sisters Phyllis Martin and husband Dennis, and Ruby Osborn all of Stillwater.
