CECIL GLENN ROBISON Funeral services for Cecil Glenn Robison, age 83, of Newkirk, OK formerly of Ponca City, OK are scheduled for 10:00 am Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at the Church of Christ Hartford Ave., Ponca City, OK with a 1:00 pm interment at the Gracehill Cemetery, Perry, OK. Services are under the direction of Perry Funeral Home, Perry, OK. Mr. Robison was born on September 20, 1923 to Jesse and Floy (Stephens) Robison in Willa Springs, AR and passed from this life on January 5, 2007 in Ponca City, OK. He grew up and attended school in Perry later moving to Ponca City, OK working on a dairy farm then hired by Conoco in 1944. Mr. Robison made the first supply of grease for the first space shuttle that flew into space. He retired in May 1985 after 41 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Newkirk and Ponca City Mooselodge. His hobbies included going to the dances, riding bikes, gardening and walking. He is survived by: 1 Son: Leon Robison and wife Linda of Ponca City, OK 2 Daughters: Sue Messenger of Phoenix, Arizona Dianna Cox and Darrel Golay of Ponca City, OK 1 Brother: Wayne Adams of Yale, OK 1 Sister: Esther VanNoy of Ponca City, OK 6 Grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren Memorials may be made to the Hospice of North Central OK, 1904 N.
