Charles Lee Ellis

Charles Lee Ellis, 58, passed away from this life on Thursday afternoon, February 9, 2017 surrounded by his wife, Linda, family and his pet Jenny, Chuck. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 11:00am at the Church of the First Born in Perkins. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 12 from 1:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home with family greeting guest from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Arrangements are under the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.
Chuck is the oldest of two son born to Mary Louise and Lee Ellis on September 4, 1958 in Clovis, New Mexico.
Chuck graduated high school in 1977 in La Vernia, Texas. Upon graduation he entered the United States Air Force, serving 15 years as a Staff Sergeant. While enlisted he received the Meritorious Service Medal.
In 1994 Chuck was working for ST Services, Drumright, Oklahoma when he met his wife, Linda Hubbard Thompson. After being transferred to California, Linda and Chuck were married in San Diego on October 14, 1995.
Chuck was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast, sharing that love with his dad Lee, his sons and friends, making two trips to Sturgis, SD.
Chuck was employed for Snyder Electric in Allen, Texas before moving to Stillwater.
To have known Chuck or Chuck-a-poo to his grandkids was to have known the kindest, dearest, funniest of friends, warmest of dads and grandfather.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Linda of the home; his dad Lee of Cibolo, TX; his daughter Aimie Gaylord and husband of San Antonio, TX; three step sons, Randy Thompson and wife Jana of Agra, OK, Ronnie Thompson of Agra, OK, and Dale Thompson of Cushing, OK; one brother Larry Ellis and wife Malissa of San Antonio; one grandson; ten granddaughters, and eight great grandchildren.
Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louise and his step mother, Kathy Ellis.
A very special thank you to Heidi Moore and Louis with Judith Karman Hospice and to Chucks daughter-in-law Jana Thompson. Each of you are very special.
