Charlie Wesley Patten, Jr.

Charlie Wesley Patten, Jr., 91, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, in Stillwater, Ok. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 1-6pm at Dighton Marler Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Dighton Marler Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Charlie was born on January 26, 1932, in Jennings, Oklahoma to Charlie and Volna Patten. He grew up in Jennings and graduated from Jennings High School in 1950. After high school he attended Oklahoma A&M. He married Mary Ann Hanlon on September 5, 1951, in Yale, Oklahoma. Charlie and Mary Ann loved to travel together. Charlie enjoyed spending time with his family and going to the casino.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann, his parents and one daughter Karla Coggins, one granddaughter and 6 brothers and 4 sisters.

He is survived by his children, Larry Patten and wife Necita, Karen Patten, Charles Patten and his wife Donnell, and Mike Patten and his wife Patsy. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
