Clarence William Kuehl, Jr., 76, of Morrison, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Dighton Marler Funeral Home of Perry.
A Celebration of Clarence’s life is scheduled for 1:00PM Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Hilltop Country Church in Morrison. Rev. Russell Hughes will officiate.
Clarence was born July 13, 1941 in Sterling, Colorado to Clarence and Martha (Preston) Kuehl. He grew up in Sterling, Colorado. After obtaining his G.E.D. he joined the Air Force in October 1961 to serve his country. Clarence served twenty years and 12 days in the United States Air Force. He specialized in air transportation, and retired as a Master Sergeant Air Transportation Supervisor.
Clarence enjoyed bowling, fishing, refurbishing old cars, but most of all his family. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Bartley of the home; four children, Leann Rowell of Canon City, Colorado, Tina Chapman and husband Mike of Canon City, Colorado, Tim Kuehl and wife, Gwen of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Tracy Anderson of Canon City, Colorado; Three step children, Doug Lawhead of Morrison, Oklahoma, Mellany Solis and husband Jamie of Canon City, Colorado, and Brian Lawhead and wife Misty of Fort Worth, Texas; Siblings Darrell Kuehl and wife Barbara of Morrison, Oklahoma, Gorden Kuehl and wife Betty of Kingfisher, Oklahoma and Clara West of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Thirty-two grandchildren, and fourteen Great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dean Kuehl and Buck Kuehl; and two step-grandchildren.
