Claude Melvin Gwinn

Mr. Claude Melvin Gwinn passed away May 16, 2007 at the age of 81 years in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Claude was born May 10, 1926 in Helena, Oklahoma to Louis and Mary Alice Gwinn. During WWII Claude served his country faithfully in the United States Navy. On August 14, 1961 he took Miss Marie Noonan as his bride in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Claude loved to play golf, travel and enjoyed flying. He was a member of the fraternal order of Elks and served as chaplain in the Stillwater chapter. Claude was employed with Oklahoma State University as an electronic engineer. Although he is no longer with us his memory and legacy will be kept alive through the family and friends he leaves behind which includes: his Wife of 46 years Marie of the home, 2 Sons: Gary Frick of California and Randy Frick of Tacoma Washington, 2 Daughters: Verla Holguin of Stillwater, Ok and Kayla Gwin of Keylargo, Florida, 1 Brother: Roy Gwinn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Claude is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. Memorial Services will be held at St Francis Catholic Church Monday May 21, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Ken Harder officiating.
