Claudia Cellan, 51, of Glencoe, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Thursday, September 18, 2014 in her home surrounded by family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Monday, September 22 at 1:00pm at the Glencoe Church of Christ.
Claudia was born on January 26, 1963 in Los Angeles to Ronald and Barbara (Mills) Johnson. She lived there until the age of three when her family moved to Oklahoma City, OK, where she spent most of her childhood. Claudia married George Cellan, the love of her life, on October 23, 1981 at McKinley Avenue Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK. After getting married, they moved to Stillwater to start their own family, with the births of their children, Jeremiah, Barbara, Sara, and Amanda.
Claudia was a devoted and fun loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She would have done anything for her family and was very protective of them. She worked many jobs to make sure that her children had everything they needed. Claudia loved to keep her family on their toes. Many times she would jump out of the closet and scare her husband and kids, just for a good laugh. Claudia had many hobbies, including watching and playing softball and playing vintage video games on Atari. Claudia and George would take the kids to arcades growing up so that the entire family could take part in what Claudia and George loved to do. Claudia was very dedicated to her family. She will be missed by all.
Claudia is preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Barbara (Mills) Johnson; one brother, Eric Johnson and one sister Rhonda Johnson. She is survived by her husband, George Cellan; four children, Jeremiah Johnson and wife Tina, Barbara Stucker and husband Brad, Sara Baugus and husband, G.H., Amanda Harrington and husband, Joel; four siblings, Kammie Jones, Ladonna Temple, Ronnie Kaye Leeper, and Bill Johnson; eight grandchildren, Domonick Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Jr., Payton Johnson, Nasnan Johnson, Adriene Johnson, Alexandra Baugus, Garlynd Baugus, and Palmer Stucker.
