Dale Alan Bolay

Dale Alan Bolay, 61, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018, in Ada, Oklahoma. He was born February 17, 1957, in Perry, Oklahoma, to Derrold and Vera Bolay.

Dale grew up south of Red Rock, Oklahoma and was active in basketball and Future Farmers of America before graduating Red Rock High School in 1975. He began Bolay Construction Company in 1980 and enjoyed laying pipelines and performing other types of dirt work, primarily in the oilfield. He also spent time farming and helping his family in their farm endeavors. The days spent operating backhoes, dozers, and combines were those he appreciated most, in addition to time spent mentoring and helping his agriculture-minded daughter in the show ring.

Dale is survived by his parents, Derrold and Vera Bolay; his wife, Margaret Bolay; his daughters and their spouses, Amy and Kevin Adams, Michelle and Jeremy Skidgel, Laura and Douglas McConnell, and DeAnna and Jesse Hinkle; and his son, Brandon Bolay. He leaves 11 grandchildren: Sadie and Delaney Hinkle; MaKaila, Heagen, Gabriel, Kamden, and Zachary Skidgel; Hailey and Tanner Vaughan; James Wilson, and Ethan Bolay. Dale has one great-grandson, Hayden Harman.

Additionally, Dale is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Terry and Joan Bolay, Sandra and Bob Beier, Daniel and Anita Bolay and Lee Ann and David Gregory. He has numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Perry. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 9:00AM to 8:00PM with the family greeting guests from 5-7PM. Graveside services will be at 2:00PM Friday, November 2, 2018 at Grace Hill cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma.
