Earl Dale Focht, a Stillwater area resident, passed away at home on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the age of 73 years.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater and will be held on 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2014 Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Frank Case officiating. The family will be greeting friends from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home.
Dale was born at Pawnee on April 28, 1941, the son of Albert and Mary (Behrens) Focht. Dale graduated from Glencoe High School in 1959. He married the late Helen Carr Focht in 1963 having two sons, Michael and Tracy Focht with this union. He later married Vickie (McFarland) Focht.
Dale started his construction career with the Shelton Lumber Company, also, with Marvin Barth, Keith Rossander. Then later became a construction contractor for the late Bill Enmeir and Brett Enmier.
He was preceded by his parents, son, Michael Focht, granddaughter, Amanda Focht and one nephew, Monty Anderson.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie, of the home, one son, Tracy and his wife Kimberly, four grandsons, Ryan Focht, Brandon Focht, Cody Focht and Shannon Focht, three great grandchildren, Braxton, Skyler, Aubrey and one on the way. One sister, Jerri Anderson and husband, Delbert, and four sisters-in-laws.
