Danny Larue Darrow

Danny Darrow, 59, of Perkins, OK, passed on at his home on Saturday, April 22, 2017 surrounded by his family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater, OK.
A Celebration of Dannys life will be held at 6 PM Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the Perkins Tryon High School Gymnasium, 1003 ok-33, Perkins, OK. Rev. Max Rudd will officiate. There will be no public viewing.
Danny was born July 18, 1957 in Pampa, TX, to Ralph Dwain and Billie Ann (Peeler) Darrow. He grew up in the Perkins area where he attended Perkins-Tryon Schools and graduated in 1975. He and Linda Ward were married January 26, 1980 in Perkins. They were blessed with 37 wonderful years. They made their home in Perkins where they raised their two boys, Justin and Rudy.
Linda, Justin and Rudy were his number one loves and light of his life. He enjoyed playing guitar with his band, Gravel Road, grilling on the deck with his friends and family, driving the "Zipper", and piddlin around the house. Danny was very active with Perkins-Tryon Schools. No matter how hot or cold you could find him on the field keeping stats for the team. He loved his Demons! Dannys support of the Perkins-Tryon schools will be greatly missed.
Danny is survived by his wife, Linda; two sons, Justin Lee and wife Veronica and Rudy Dale and wife Jessica; parents, Dwain and Bille Ann; five grandchildren, Athena, Keegan, Sam, Avie and Rooney; one brother, Donny and wife Carol. He is preceded in death by his Paternal and Maternal grandparents.
