David Carl Clark

David Carl Clark, age 67, of Perry, died September 28, 2021, in Stillwater Medical Center-Perry. Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Perry has been entrusted with his final care.

He was born November 12, 1953 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Harold and Cathryn (Unverzagt) Clark.

He graduated from Canadian High School in Canadian Texas in 1973 and later went on to attend Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology in Okmulgee Oklahoma.

David married Carolyn Bay May 24, 1974 in Perry Oklahoma. They had 47 years together in which they lived life to the fullest, dedicated to each other.

David worked for Homeland for 18 years, then Noble County for 27 years. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, and he loved competing in long range black powder rifle shooting competitions. In 2008 David won 1st place at the NRA National Championships in Raton, New Mexico. David was known by many to have a heart of gold, he always was helping other’s out, he was man of little word, but when he spoke he stood by what he said. He had a love for traveling and always looked forward to hitting the road.

David was preceded in death by his father Harold Clark. David is survived by his wife of the home Carolyn Clark; son Ryan Clark and his wife Riann of Walnut Creek California; mother, Cathryn Clark of Bartlesville, three brothers, Robert Clark of Wakita Oklahoma, Ronald Clark and wife Cheryl of Bartlesville Oklahoma, Drew Clark and wife Lori of Hampton Virginia; and three grand children Raeleigh Clark, Kaelyn Clark, and Declan Clark.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home in Perry from 9 AM to 8 PM. Funeral Services for Mr. Clark will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday October 8, 2021 at the Church of Christ in Perry, with Pastor Troy Woolery officiating. Interment will follow at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry.
