David Wayne Baker

David Wayne Baker, 58, of Stillwater passed from this life to eternity on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Stillwater Medical Center. Dighton Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater has been entrusted with his funeral services.
David was born on December 11, 1962, in Cushing, Oklahoma to James Andrew Baker Sr. and Isabelle Grace Whan Baker. He grew up in the Cushing area and graduated from Cushing High School. He spent most of his adult life as a laborer and was a long-time employee at Stillwater Milling Company in Stillwater.
He is survived by his children Allison Baker, of West Platina, CA, and Niquita Lorett of Stillwater, OK. He is also survived by siblings Carl Baker and wife Susan of Cushing, OK, J.D. Baker of Wichita, KS, Destiny Bertucci of New Mexico, and Jamie Baker. Surviving grandchildren include Kaylynn Marie Roberts, Cayden Allen Roberts, Kenzie May Lorett, Annabel Leigh Lorett, and Brooklynn Diane Clark.
David was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, and sister-in-law Heather Baker.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at the United Pentecostal Church in Cushing. Visitation will be held at the Dighton-Marler Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 17 from noon to 8 P.M. Memorial contributions to defray the cost of the services may be made in David’s name at Dighton Marler Funeral Home, 5106 N. Washington St., Stillwater, OK 74075.
