David William Hesser was born January 27, 1931 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Verlin & Hilda (De Haven) Hesser. He spent his entire life on the family farm, where he cherished dairy farming alongside his father and grandfather. The outdoors beckoned him, and he relished hunting, trapping, and fishing with loved ones. From a tender age, Jesus held a special place in David's heart. In 1963, he crossed paths with Kathie, his soulmate, knowing she was destined to be his lifelong companion. Together, they nurtured five children, discipling them and countless others in the knowledge of the Jesus. David passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2024 in Glencoe at the age of 93 surrounded by his family. While our hearts may ache, we find solace in the promise of reunion, as expressed in 1 Thessalonians 4:13: "we sorrow not even as those without hope," for we shall meet him again.
