Debra Leigh Helms

Debra Helms, 60, of Stillwater, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Stillwater.

Debra was born July 23, 1960 in Cushing, Oklahoma to William Lee McDaniel and Mary Ruth (Wells) McDaniel. She was a longtime resident of Stillwater where she worked as a bus driver for Stillwater Public Schools for more than twenty years. She enjoyed “cutting up” with everyone and singing “Happy Birthday”.

Survivors include her siblings, Doug McDaniel of Stillwater, OK., Earl McDaniel and wife Janet of Ripley, OK., and James G. McDaniel of Stillwater, OK; nieces and nephews, Douglas and Jessie McDaniel, Matt and Heather Billings, Patrick and Ashlee McDaniel, Jacob McDaniel, Hunter and Mandy Greenfield, and Caulden and Shelby Greenfield; great-nieces and nephews, Rory McDaniel, Hunter McDaniel, Isabella McDaniel, Elijah McDaniel, Collin Billings, Tyler Filley, Alexis Filley, Kinsley McDaniel, Amie McDaniel, Esme Greenfield, Channing Greenfield, Mickey Greenfield, Teller Greenfield, Cooper Greenfield; and her cat Turbo. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the family farm located at 5417 Springcreek Circle West in Stillwater at 3PM.
