Dee Theron Ball was born on June 26th, 1938, in Fletcher, Oklahoma to Dee Forest and Fannie
A (Roper) Ball. Dee was the youngest of 4 children and spent his childhood in Fletcher,
attending Fletcher Schools before leaving to enlist in the armed forces.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Dee Forest and Fannie Ball, sisters, Beatrice Morris
and Donna Jean Ball and brother Garland Lee. He also joins the love of his life, Laurel Annette
Ball in death.
Dee and Annette were married July 15th, 1966, making their home in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma. Dee gladly took on the role of father to son David and welcomed daughters Carla
and Connie with Annette. Dee and Annette would later relocate to Morrison, Oklahoma when
OG&E offered Dee the chance to transfer to Sooner Power Plant. Dee spent many years
working for OG&E, retiring in 1994. He would then work for the City of Morrison, Morrison Public
Schools, OSU Transit and Jeff D Frank Farms. Always remaining close to home to be near his
family. He will be remembered as one of the hardest working men around.
Dee was a devout Christian and enjoyed a great many things during his life. Fishing Sooner
Lake, making homemade ice cream for the grandkids on the porch, and reading Louis L’amour
western books were just a few things he enjoyed. Most of all he enjoyed his time with Annette,
watching their children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren grow up before their eyes.
His grandchildren and great grandchildren will cherish memories of both Schwan’s ice cream as
well as homemade ice cream, Schwan’s Lemon Creme Pies, Club Crackers shared and even
the occasional game of chess, dominoes or rummy. Most of all, they will cherish the hugs and
love bestowed upon them by him in this life.
Dee is survived by his son David Ball and wife Betty of the home. Daughter Carla Waller and
husband Bill of Catoosa, Oklahoma and daughter Connie Ball, also of the home. He leaves
behind grandchildren Debra and Matt Davis of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Joe and Desirae Ball of
Stillwater, Oklahoma, Dawn DuLac and Brett Bullock of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, John DuLac of
Catoosa, Oklahoma and William Waller stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Great Grandchildren

Pennwell and Deacon Skidgel of Stillwater, Oklahoma. He is survived by many lifelong friends
and extended family members as well.
Dee will truly be missed by many, especially his family
