Graveside services for Delbert Dennis Roberts are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with longtime friend Dick Gaches officiating. Services are under the direction of Palmer-Marler-Carberry Funeral Home. Dennis was born on August 23, 1940 to Alva and Edna (Rhodes) Roberts in Hoffman, OK. He passed from this life on April 10, 2008 at Stillwater Medical Center. Dennis grew up and attended school in the Hoffman-Miami area. He married Fern I. Donaldson on August 23, 1959 in Perry, OK. Dennis was a member of the 45th infantry division of the United States Army for six years, ending his duties in March of 1966. He was a member of the Stillwater Elks Lodge 1859, and the Stillwater Moose Lodge. He owned Dennis Roberts Trenching and Earth Moving for several years, retiring in 2000. His hobbies included bowling, fishing, woodworking, and hunting. He was a good husband and an all-around big-hearted, fun-loving guy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bruce Roberts and one in infancy; four nephews, Eric Bay, Frankie Sessions, Ray Allen Williams, and Monte Williams; and one sister-in-law Helen Williams.
