Dewey Emmons

Dewey L. Emmons Dewey L. Emmons was born on August 5, 1940 in Billings, Oklahoma to Wayne and Gladys (Collins) Emmons. He passed away at Integris Hospital in Enid on April 21, 2013. Dewey worked in the oilfield and farmed and ranched for many years. He was the owner-operator of Gold Star Carpet Care. He was a skilled carpenter and cabinet maker and refurbished many homes. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his family. Dewey and Patricia (McBride) Emmons were married in Perry in 1962 and recently celebrated 51 years of marriage. They were partners in life and work. Dewey is survived by his wife Patricia of the home, his son Wendell Emmons and wife Victoria of Perry, six grandchildren Stacy Emmons and fiance Donnie Lloyd of Moore, Ok., James Emmons and wife Courtney of Yukon, Ok., Steven Marshall and fianc" Brittany Jahay of Woodward, Ok., Ashlie Emmons of Oklahoma City, Ok., Amanda Marshall of Edmond, Ok and Catherine Emmons of Perry, Ok., four great grandchildren Kaitlynn Melvin, Hayden and Teagan Crump and Titan Emmons, three brothers Gary Emmons of Perry, Ok., Larry Emmons of Morrison, Ok and Tommy Emmons of Shattuck, Ok., and one sister Doris Brown of Loveland, Co. Cremation Services are entrusted to Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home, Perry, Ok. No services will be held.
