Donald D Kemnitz

Donald Dick KEMNITZ, 78 of Oklahoma City, passed from this life Sunday
November 4th, 2012 at the Norman Regional Hospital. Donald was born March 11, 1934 in Perry, Oklahoma to Fred and Lucille Kemnitz. Donald was raised in
Perry and graduated from High School in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. Following High School he joined the Navy where he served in the Submarine Service. This was an important time in Donalds life. In April of 1955 he married the love of his life,
Frances Bernhardt in Norwalk, Connecticut. To this union four children were born. Vickie Grissom of Midwest City, Oklahoma. Terry Page of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Donna Codd of Arlington, Texas. One Son, David Charles Kemnitz.
Donald was employed by the FAA as a computer analyst. He retired from the
FAA in 1993. Donald and Frances enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling in their RV. Donald loved the lake and watching O.U. sports. They traveled to Hawaii five times and enjoyed the last time as much as the first. Donald loved his children and grandchildren and was very proud of his great granddaughter.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and one son. Services will be held Thursday November 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Southern Hills United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. Burial is to follow at Grace Hill Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
