Donald Glenn Brown, Jr.

Funeral services for Donald Glenn Brown, Jr. age 49, of Stillwater, OK are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Miller and Rev. Lee Cooper officiating. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Palmer-Marler-Carberry Funeral Home.
Donald Glenn Brown Jr. was born February 18, 1959 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Donald Glenn Brown Sr. and Ardelia M. Jones Brown.
His formative years were spent in Oklahoma City where he attended public school and ultimately graduated from Classen High School in 1977. After graduating from high school he served his country for two years in the United States Air Force. He later obtained an associate degree from Northern Oklahoma College/ OSU. Then, he attended the Indian Meridian Vo-tech where he received certification in Electrical Engineering and Computer Technology. Donald used his vocational education while being employed by several companies. His last employment was with Webco.
At a very impressionable age Donald accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at Fairview Baptist Church. August 5, 1988 he married Marilyn A. Gibbs and to that union was born one child Audrea Dawn. Later in life he and his family united with Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Donald was greeted at Heavens gate on June 3rd, by his father Donald Glenn Brown Sr., his brother James Leonard Brown and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Marilyn A. Brown, his daughter Audrea Dawn Brown, two step-daughters E-let (Charles) Harrison and De-Shannon Gibbs, two grand-daughters Dymond Harrison and Alexandria Smith, His loving mother Ardelia Pritchett, sister Kathryn Calderon , nephew Antwan Calderon and a host of family and friends.
