Donald Wayne Gay

Donald Wayne Gay, 54, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, from 9am to 5pm with family greeting guests from 3-5pm at Dighton Marler Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021, at 2:00pm at Dighton Marler Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden Cemetery in Stillwater. Dighton Marler Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
Donald was born on June 8, 1967, to Michael and Marilyn (Watts) Gay. He grew up in Stillwater and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1985. He enjoyed cooking and baking. One of his favorite things was going to bingo with his niece Savanah, occasionally yelling bingo. He loved Christmas and was the life of the party and would sit up all night making his famous Christmas cookies to share with everyone he would meet. He worked in the restaurant industry for many years.
His nieces and nephews were his life. You would find him dancing and head banging all over the house with them. He was never blessed with kids of his own, so he spent his days playing with them and making them laugh at all his shenanigans. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father Michael Gay and grandparents, Eual and LaDoris Gay and Bill and Celia Watts, and his best friend, his dog Bitty.
He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Watts Gay, siblings Steve Gay and Melissa Hawkins, 5 nieces,4 great nieces, and 2 great nephews.
