Donnie Daniels Jr.

Donald Donnie Daniels Jr, 46, of Perkins, passed from this life on August 23, 2011 in Stillwater. Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Perkins and will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 4:00 pm at the Funeral Home Chapel located at 304 n. Main in Perkins.
Donnie was born on October 26, 1964 to Donald and Maxine Daniels in Stillwater, OK. He attended schools in the Stillwater area and following his high school graduation, Donnie joined the United States Marine Corp. Donnie enjoyed his time as a Marine. While in the Corp, he served as an ordinance munitions technician. He was awarded several awards including the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, as well as the Rifle Expert and Pistol Marksman Badges. After an honorable discharge from the Marine Corp, Donnie was employed as an auto mechanic.
Donnie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perkins. When he was not working, he enjoyed farming, working on cars, talking to anybody and everybody, and spending time with his friends and family. He will be remembered as a joker with a great sense of humor and an infectious permanent smile.
He is survived by his mother, Lois Cutburth of Collinsville, OK, a brother and two sisters, as well as Joe Cutburth, and Anna Cutburth-Evans. He was preceded in death by Robert Cutburth and Maxine Schell. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Oklahoma Baptist Childrens Home in care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. 5106 N.
