Dorothy Jo Fouquet

Funeral services for Dorothy Jo Fouquet, 74, of Stillwater are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Stillwater with Pastor Wally Mahoney officiating. There will be no graveside services. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 - 6:00 and Monday from 8:00 - 8:00 at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Stillwater.
Dorothy was born on December 14, 1934 in Clarksville, TX to John and Ruby (Thompson) Badgett. She grew up and attended schools in Clarksville where she graduated from high school. She later moved to Stillwater where she has resided for the last 45 years. George Fouquet was her significant other for many of those years. He precedes her in death. She spent most of her adult life taking care of people, whether it was being a caregiver for the elderly or a stay at home mom. Dorothy liked to collect things and would rather go out instead of staying indoors. She especially liked to go out to eat. Her hobbies included cooking, seeing her grandchildren, and spending time with family and friends. Dorothy passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2009 in Stillwater.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Jeanette Badgett.
She is survived by two sons, Wesley Stiles and his wife Veneta of Australia and Nick Westbrook and his wife, Amy of Stillwater; five grandchildren, Jesse Stiles, Camilla Baker and her husband, Trent, Cory Westbrook, Colbee Westbrook, and Camryn Westbrook; one great grandchild, Isla Baker; one sister, Mildred Penny and her husband, H.C. of Clarksville, TX; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
