Earl Jesse Frank

Earl Jesse Frank was born on January 26th, 1925 to George and Lavina (Tanner) Frank near Morrison, Oklahoma. Earl attended school in Morrison and graduated from Morrison High School.
Earl spent his life working as a farmer/rancher and has always resided in the Morrison/Stillwater area. He served as a medic in the United States Army in World War II. Earl was united in marriage to Alpha L. Poe on April 19th, 1946 in Seminole, Oklahoma.
Earl was a hard worker. He enjoyed working all week and going dancing on Saturday nights. He was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his family and truly loved his wife, children and grandchildren. Earl was a member of the American Legion, a Lions Club Charter Member, spent 17 years as a East 51 Water Board member in Stillwater and was active for 20 years with the Morrison School Board of Education. He enjoyed attending all of his families sporting events. He also liked to spend time visiting with his friends and enjoyed drinking coffee and visiting at Moms Restaurant and the Morrison Coffee Shop. He enjoyed meeting new people and always had a kind word and conversation for all individuals that he came in contact with.
Earl passed away on Friday, September 29th, 2006 at the family home North of Stillwater, Oklahoma. He was 81 years of age. He is survived by his wife, Alpha L. Frank of the home; six children, Jesse Frank of Stillwater, Gary Frank and wife Diana of Morrison, Kenneth Frank and wife Verla of Morrison, Debra Wilemon and husband Steve of Broken Arrow, Aaron Frank and wife Donnie of Stillwater, Lyle Frank and wife Athena of Glencoe, eleven grandchildren, Julie Fowble, Michelle Frank, Eric Frank, Kendra Jackson, Tracie and Travis Wilemon, Kelsey and Kyle Frank, Payton, J.W., and Cash Frank; four great grandchildren, Chance and Isaac Fowble, Andrew and Chloe Jackson; five siblings, Glema Lee of Ketchum, OK, June Pennington of Enid, OK, Floretta Jones of OKC, OK, Wilbur Frank of Yukon, OK and Carolina Herron of Norman, OK; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
Services for Earl Frank will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2006 at 10:00a.m. at the Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home Chapel. Paul Anderson will be officiating. Musical selections will be performed by Jeannie McCray. Visitation will be held at Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home on Sunday, October 1st from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Monday October 2nd from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Judith Karman Hospice, PO Box 818, Stillwater, OK 74076. The family has entrusted Palmer Marler Carberry Funeral Home with the arrangements.
