Elizabeth "Jo" McGuire, age 64, of Perry went to her new home in Heaven Tuesday afternoon, February 17, 2009 in Perry. Jo was born on January 20, 1945 in Tucson, Arizona and was the daughter of Kenneth S. and Mary E. (Mills) Pattison. She graduated from High School, attended some college and was united in marriage on December 6, 1975 in Dallas, Texas. She worked as a homemaker, and loved to garden. Also, she was a massage therapist, loved to decorate, loved antiques, was a history buff and a visionary. She loved to her grandchildren very much, and was known as wonderful person who put her family first, loved her Lord. She loved the family land, she always had a smile. Jo was an entrepreneur. She was very creative and loved to laugh. Elizabeth had the sweetest voice, and was beautiful inside and out. She is survived by George G. McGuire of the home; three sons, Ross Jones and wife Paige of Kaufman, Texas, Joshua McGuire and wife Rachelle St. Paul, Minnesota, Matt McGuire and wife Melanie of Perry; two daughters, Rebekah Jo Workman of Perry and Mary E. Davis and husband Donnie of Perry; two brothers, Dr. Gary F. Parker of Pittsburg, Texas and Kenneth A. Pattison of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Donna Sue O"Connor of Franklin, Texas and seven grandchildren. Jo was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Larry Dean Parker. Condolences may be sent using our online guestbook at www.perryfuneralh.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, c/o Perry Funeral Home, 203 E. Fir, Perry, OK 73077. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Perry Funeral Home and a family conducted graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the McGuire Cemetery.
